A LD-3 (AKE) Air ULD measures 1.53 m (5′0″) long, 1.56 m (5′1″) wide and 1.63 m (5′4″) high inside — about 3.9 m³ (138 ft³) of usable space, with a maximum gross weight up to 1,588 kg (3,501 lb).

IATA LD-3 (AKE) — the standard lower-deck-hold ULD used on nearly all widebody aircraft. Contoured base narrows sharply toward the top on both long sides to clear the fuselage curvature; cargo can't use the full 1534×1562×1626mm bounding box near the roofline.

IATA figures: the weight column is maximum GROSS weight (tare included) and the volume is the IATA rated envelope. ContainerMath models the contoured shell conservatively, so a real plan fills slightly less.
