ContainerMath is a 3D container loading and cargo packing tool operated by 100 MPH Private Limited, trading as Backrock Studios ("ContainerMath", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use ContainerMath at containermath.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service.
When you sign in, our authentication provider records your email address, name, and a unique account identifier. We use this to create your account, sign you in, and associate your work with you. We never see or store your password.
ContainerMath stores the data you enter to produce load plans, including:

If you use Export Documents (a paid feature), we store the shipment information you enter so you can regenerate and reuse your trade documents. This can include:
Saved shipments and your reusable company profile are stored on our servers and scoped to your account or organization; unsaved drafts are kept locally in your browser as you work. Because these documents may contain information about third parties (such as your buyer or consignee), you are responsible for ensuring you are permitted to provide that information to us for this purpose.
Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. Card and payment details are entered directly with Dodo — we do not collect or store your full card number. We receive and retain a record of your plan, subscription status, and the identifiers needed to manage billing.
When you use AI-assisted features — including the Stowy copilot and AI smart import for manifests and export packing lists — the cargo details, packing-list text or files, and prompts you submit are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. We track your AI token usage for usage limits and billing. Do not submit information through the AI features that you do not want shared with that provider.
When you write to us through our support form, we keep your name, email address, and the contents of your message so we can reply and track the issue, together with the IP address and browser the form was submitted from (which we use to filter automated submissions). Your message is delivered to the internal channel our team works from — see "Communication and alerting tools" below.
Like most web applications, we automatically record limited technical data — such as your approximate request origin, browser type, and basic event logs — to keep the service secure, diagnose errors, and understand feature usage.
We use three analytics tools to understand how the product is used and to improve it:
Microsoft Clarity and PostHog do not load in your browser until you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner — until then your browser makes no request to them and no cookie is set.
PostHog has one exception worth naming plainly. Two things are recorded from our servers rather than from your browser: completing a signup and a subscription becoming active. Both are records of something that happened on our side — an account was created, a payment we have to reconcile went through — so they are sent however you set the banner. They carry your account identifier, the sign-in method, the plan, and the campaign or referrer the first visit arrived from. They do not carry your browsing, and no further server-side events are sent.
Google Analytics works differently, and we want to be precise about it. The Google tag loads on every page, but it starts in a denied consent state: it does not set Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies and does not build a persistent identifier for you. It does still contact Google, so Google receives your IP address and basic request information even before you choose. If you accept analytics cookies, it switches to the granted state and begins full measurement. You can change your choice at any time (see below).
We send Google one event from our servers as well — that a signup completed — because the in-browser tag cannot observe a signup that finishes through Google sign-in. It is sent only if you accepted analytics cookies. If you declined, nothing about your signup reaches Google: we do not substitute an identifier of our own, and the conversion simply goes uncounted.
We use cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to maintain your session and preferences — these are always on. Our consent banner also offers two optional categories, both off unless you turn them on:
When you first visit, the banner lets you accept or decline the optional categories, and you can reopen it to update your preferences whenever you like.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate ContainerMath, and only to the extent needed to perform their function. The categories below cover every provider we use; we name the individual provider where it is one you interact with directly or one that sets a cookie in your browser, and identify the rest by function so we can change supplier without leaving this page out of date.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ContainerMath and its users.
ContainerMath exposes a free volume calculator that AI assistants (such as ChatGPT or Claude) can call on your behalf over the Model Context Protocol. These anonymous calculations are processed in memory and are not linked to any account: we do not store the cargo details submitted, and we retain only anonymous, aggregate call counts (for example, how many calculations were run). No cookies are involved because no browser is — the referral links these tools return carry only non-identifying campaign parameters. Authenticated API and MCP usage is governed by the account terms above.
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, ContainerMath deactivates it: you are signed out and blocked from access, but your data is retained for audit and integrity purposes. Signing in again with the same email self-restores the account. If you want your data permanently erased, reach us through our support form and we will action your request subject to any legal retention obligations. Separately, accounts that we suspend or terminate for violation of our Terms of Service or misuse of the service may be removed together with their associated data, as described in those Terms.
Connections to ContainerMath are encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and your account, saved load plans, cargo data, and presets are stored on managed infrastructure with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your data directly in the app, and you can request a copy of your account and saved data as a JSON file from Account Settings → Request a copy of your data; for your security we email it to your account address rather than downloading it directly, and it can take a few minutes to arrive. You can exercise other rights, including erasure, through our support form.
ContainerMath is operated from, and our providers may process data in, jurisdictions that may differ from your own. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
ContainerMath is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product.
