REST API access requires a company account: API keys can only be created and used from a work email address. Accounts registered on personal or free-mail addresses (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and similar) can use every other feature of their plan, but not the API.

What's included in the Starter plan?
Starter is the entry plan at $39.99/mo. It gives you 50 calculations per month, clean un-watermarked image exports, and manifest import: paste a messy list and let AI structure it, or upload a CSV/XLSX. You can save your own cartons and crates in the Carton Fit box library. It does not include PDF report or CSV downloads, saved load plans/history, or custom vessels — step up to Pro Plus for those.
Which plan should I choose?
Plans differ by volume and by what you need to take away with you. Start free to try it on a real job — 4 calculations, results on screen. Starter fits occasional planning at 50 calculations a month. Pro Plus is the working plan: unlimited calculations plus everything you hand to someone else or build on. Custom is for teams needing white-labelling, SSO or a lifted fair-use cap.
What does upgrading from Starter to Pro Plus add?
Starter is metered, and its results stay on screen. Pro Plus removes the monthly calculation limit and adds the deliverables and integrations: PDF reports and CSV/XLSX downloads, custom vessels, the reusable item and pallet libraries, Export Documents, air-cargo ULDs, the lane calendar, outbound webhooks and REST API access. Manifest import is on Starter too.
What counts as a calculation on the free trial?
Each distinct job (your box/container + items) you run. The free trial includes 4 in total — a one-time allowance shared across Carton Fit and Freight, not a monthly quota. Re-running the same job in a different mode, or saving it, doesn't use another — only a new or edited list does.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing saves about 20% on both paid plans — Starter is $384/yr (vs $39.99/mo billed monthly) and Pro Plus is $1,238/yr (vs $129/mo). Use the Monthly / Annual toggle above.
How does AI usage and pricing work?
AI manifest import (paste a dispatch/packing list and let AI structure it) and the Stowy copilot draw from ONE shared balance of prepaid tokens. Each plan includes a monthly free-token grant that resets at the start of each month — Free 30K, Starter 120K, Pro Plus 600K, Custom 5M. You're billed by the actual tokens used, not a flat per-run fee, so a typical parse costs very little. Manifest import is a paid capability (Starter and above); the free trial gets free tokens for the copilot only. Spreadsheet (CSV/XLSX) import costs no tokens at all — it's read directly, with no AI involved. Running low? Top up anytime with prepaid credit packs that never expire.
Are “unlimited” calculations really unlimited?
For everyday interactive planning, yes. To protect the service from automated or abusive use, Pro Plus carries a fair-use ceiling of 500 calculations per month — well above what hands-on planning reaches — which resets each month. A calculation is one distinct packing run; re-running or re-saving the same job doesn't count again. If your legitimate workload regularly needs more, the Custom plan lifts the fair-use cap entirely.
Can I buy ContainerMath for my whole team?
Yes. Any paid plan can be purchased for your organization on a per-seat basis — you pay the plan's price for each seat. Create an organization, choose your seat count at checkout, then assign teammates to seats; each one gets the plan inside your shared workspace. You can change the number of seats anytime, and we prorate the difference.
